Snorkel & Explore Pelican Rock by Glass Boat + Photos

1.Snorkel & Explore Pelican Rock by Glass Boat + Photos

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 201 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $125Our pick

Cruise from San Jose del Cabo to El Arco and Pelican Rock, where a guide helps you spot fish, rays, sea stars, and more. The tour includes hotel pickup, snorkel gear, lunch, photos, and time in Cabo San Lucas. Guides such as Shaggy, Lupe, and Jonathan may lead the outing.

“The snorkeling was okay for the amount of time we got, but the title of the tour really is a misleading. Most of the "tour" is spent visiting tourist traps and trying to get you to spend money. When we were on the water, instead of having the gear ready to go, Shaggy prepared the gear while we were floating there, which meant that some people didn't get into the water for 10 minutes after we arrived, as he took care of one person at a time. I will say his efforts to get photos in the boat and in the water were great, and we appreciated that very much.…”

We were so impressed with his knowledge of local birds - he was able to identify birds SO quickly and easily and we saw a whopping 57 species on our day out with him (which I think may have been his record high for a tour in this area)! Highly recommend booking with Eddy if you want to see and learn about the local birds.”

“Our tour guide Alejandra was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, very nice, and made the tour a lot of fun. Our driver Pedro was also very nice and the two of them both took some time to think over our dietary restrictions to offer us some great options when we asked for local food recommendations. The boat tour of the reserve was a lot of fun, although we had less time on the water than I was expecting (also if your group is less than 5 or 6 people, the boat ride itself might not be just your group). The restaurant at Celestun that we were taken to is hit-or-miss…”
