We drive out to Poetto Beach (we didn't stay but the beach was so long I wonder if it ever gets completely crowded). seeing flamingos in the wild was fun. the views from the Old Town were lovely as well as the narrow streets, churches and other buildings. The more modern city below was full of good shops combined with local markets. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and impressed us by repeating everything twice as we speak English and the other couple with us spoke Italian.”
